My Crazy World

We've had so much going on at Crazy Lady Adventures. Last weekend I flew (yep, in a plane) to Lexington, KY where I picked up a rental car and drive 3 hours north to Fishers, IN. Spent a wonderful weekend relaxing, visiting an old jail cell/sheriff's home from the 1800's, went to Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis (if you ever are in that area, I highly recommend), went out for dinner at Stone Creek Dining Company (delicious), went to an ice cream shop (Alexander's), had homemade (by my dear cousin, Simone) sangria and lasagna and reset! The weather was COLD, which was perfect for me, the company was uplifting, there were laughs, a few tears, and I even did some reading. To say this was a much needed respite, would be highly underrated!
Professionally, I attended the Azalea and Anglers Festival in Palatka, FL for 2 days in February. What a fun festival, with great vendors, and beautiful azaleas! Roxanne joined me, we met the sweetest people and had the opportunity to catch up on life and business.
March 16th, we will be attending Grove Market at Tidal Brewing Co. It is so much fun, run by a great organizer, and I'm honored to be invited back multiple times a year!
We have also been so excited to be a part of the Mai-Kai Polynesian Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, FL as a vendor. Our candles have been flying off the shelves!
Personally, my godson has been in the hospital since January 5th. He is a brain cancer survivor for 16.5 years. There are complications from all the radiation, and he will get through this, but when I'm not traveling and making candles, I'm supporting him and his family in any way I can. Our families are intricately entwined, so when I'm not here, my mind and heart are still there.
Life is messy, but we have to embrace the fun, the work, and the mess - that's where balance comes into play. I'm grateful for a husband who supports all this crazy, my kids and their special others who encourage and lift me up through all of it and hold down the fort (and animals) when I'm away, and my faith which gets me through each step and mile along the way. My friends, who endure long phone calls when I'm driving, are irreplaceable, and my goddaughter who texts to see how I'm holding on fills my heart.
Every moment matters along with every person who fills those moments!
Have a beautiful and blessed day.
Your always crazy, Crazy Lady! 🌻
